I don't do portraits that often any more (getting back into it slowly) but here is one I did for a save the date wedding invitation. any input on the portrait is appreciated.

Ok First what I would change. Move them away from the backdrop a bit, this will give them some separation from the it. The shadow on the background is a little to much.

If you are only using one light possible use a reflector from the right to bounce a little light back on them. Also Raising the flash height a bit will decrease the shadow on the backdrop and the shadows on his face

Pose wise I think your fine. The only thing I might have done a little differently in posing is having her tip her head just a bit and his chin looks like its pulled back a bit. I hope this helps.
